Summer Reading List!

I’ve been deciding on some summer reading recently & I found this list of 15 books being made into movies soon! Buzzsugar created the list & it had several books that I’m really interested in reading!! I already read Water for Elephants & I absolutely loved it!! I can’t wait to see Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon & Christoph Waltz as the leads in the movie! I think it’ll be awesome!

Since reading the list of 15 books, these are the ones I’ve added to my summer reading list:
One Day by David Nicholls
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
20 Times a Lady by Karyn Bosnak
I’m With the Band by Pamela Des Barres
The Emperor’s Children by Claire Messud
An Ex to Grind by Jane Heller
Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin
Something Blue by Emily Giffin

I currently have Something Borrowed, An Ex to Grind and The Emperor’s Children from my local library & I started Something Borrowed 2 days ago. I literally cannot put it down!! I love it!! Now, it’s really wishful thinking to believe that with a new baby & a husband & a social life & a blog that I will be able to finish all those books this summer, so I’m going to have to prioritize.

Have you read any of them?
Which ones would you suggest?
Anybody want to read them & discuss with me??

BTW, I would love to check out the list and get back to you onwhich ones I read. I'm not up on any of them, so any good suggestions? Since you can't put Something Borrowed down, perhaps I should get that one?

Nikki - I definitely understand! You're working, too!! I'm not back to work yet, so I already can see my free time is going to dwindle to like absolutely nothing when I go back to work! I'm having a hard time fitting in the time to read as it is!

Adrienne - If you haven't read Water for Elephants, that one is just awesome!! I loved it! I didn't read it quite as fast as I'm reading Something Borrowed, but I was still sucked into it! I picked Something Borrowed because it was available at my public library when I went! I have not been disappointed at all. And the movie is going to have Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin & John Krasinski in it, so it seemed like it'd probably be a good one to start with!!

I like something borrowed but Eat, Pray and Love was a bit too mature for my liking... I like reading funny books or something i can relate. Btw made a review about it:

I recommend you Can You Keep a Secret by Sophie Kinsella and Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger! My top 2 books!! lol

She is such a great photographer & she is also going to be watching Isis for me in the fall when I start my student teaching. This is technically a 10 on Tuesday , but the idea is from Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop ! 10 of My Worst Pet Peeves 1. People who don't wash their hands - especially after going to the bathroom. Ewwwww 2. The smell of burps - or just being able to smell a burp. 3. People who interrupt when others are talking. 4. Scratching people with my bare fingernails 5. Gristle in chicken 6. When people sing the harmony part with a song on the radio 7. People who are trying to turn in a non-turn lane - or people who wait until the last second to get in the turn lane 8.
